Supporting Young Disabled People to Gain New Skills
Leonard Cheshire supports individuals to live, learn and work as independently as they choose, whatever their ability. Their skills development programme, Can Do, is for individuals aged 16-35 with a disability or long-term health condition. It's all about learning new things, building confidence, giving back to the community and adding to CV’s.
Our Academy Team work closely with Leonard Cheshire and their Can Do project delivering pet care and management lessons, helping students to work towards their college qualifications. Can Do is a skills development programme for individuals aged 16-35 with a disability or long term health condition and help support them with up to 3 Pets Corner Academy programmes a year.
£20,000 is donated to Leonard Cheshire every year which will be used exclusively to support up to 36 disabled people to participate in three, 8 week building communities programmes in Surrey, London and Southampton.
The Cinnamon Trust
The Cinnamon Trust seek to relieve the anxieties, problems and sometimes injustices faced by elderly and terminally ill people and their pets, thereby saving a great deal of human sadness and animal suffering.
We help to promote the Cinnamon Trust to our customers, some of which have gone on to volunteer for the Trust.

Supporting Young People Affected by Cancer, Disabilities and Illness
The Liam Fairhurst Foundation started by Callum Fairhurst in memory of his brother Liam, who sadly died in 2009, to help young people affected by cancer, disabilities, and illness.
From funding counselling and offering financial assistance to parents, to giving children exciting days out and the chance to meet their favorite celebrities, the charity helps families in many ways. It also gives grants to other charities and organisations who share a similar ethos
During his illness, Liam also helped raise millions and started fundraising events in his local community.
